My Story
“Ambition is a dream with a V8 engine.”
My initiation into the world of creative strategy began in my fourth-grade classroom.
The campaign objective was clear—market myself to gain acceptance into The Crew, a clique of some of the meanest children you’ve ever known. Target platform: the Annual Halloween Parade. My mission? Showcase a costume that would unequivocally proclaim, "I belong."
Deploying audience analysis at its finest, I handed out a two-question survey to identify the clique’s cultural touchstones. Favorite songs? Check. Movies? Double-check. The unanimous admiration for Elvis Presley among a couple of key members? Jackpot! For the next month, I immersed myself in The King, memorizing lyrics and mimicking his iconic hip swivel. The strategy crystallized: "The Devil in Disguise"—a creative twist on Elvis’s hit song, reincarnated as a brilliant Halloween ensemble.
Did it land? No. Not at all. But it did spark my lifelong love of marrying creativity with data.
Today, I have over six years of experience as a Copywriter & Creative Strategist. I’ve worked with clients across verticals to create loyal communities using the 3Cs of consumer, competitor, and complementary brand analysis. I’ve driven countless clicks and conversions. And I’m just getting started.
